The International Goalkeepers Academy has a strong management team with experience in the sporting industry and, more specifically, the football community. The academy also features experienced and licensed staff to conduct training sessions devised under the instruction of Jim Fraser.


Jim Fraser - Director of Coaching

In 1974, Australia qualified for the first time in the FIFA Men's World Cup Championship. In his book Sheilas, Wogs and Poofters, the late John Warren described Jim Fraser as one of the key factors in getting Australia to the 1974 finals.

Jim Fraser's personality, drive, skill and passion for the sport of football have made him the most astute and in-demand goalkeeper coach.

In 2000, Jim Fraser established the International Goalkeepers Academy. Since then, his coaching duties have included the 2000 Olympics (Australian youth), international campaigns by the Socceroos (Australian Men) and Matildas (Australian Women) and National Soccer League clubs, namely Marconi Stallions, Sydney United and Parramatta Power.

Jefferson Cheng - Director

Jefferson is an investor and an international businessman with diversified global interests in the electronics and computer sector, the chemical industry, aviation, security services, environmental business and architecture.

He is a keen supporter of sports and shares the vision to help develop and produce top-calibre athletes to compete on the world stage.

Enzo Cheng - Director

Enzo is a young entrepreneur with a love for football. He is a product of the International Goalkeepers Academy. An excellent goalkeeper trained and coached by Jim Fraser, he is a member of the Philippine U19 National Football Team.

Enzo brings with him his knowledge of the sport, nutrition, physical training and his international playing experience. His ideas encompass the points of view and needs of the young and developing athlete.
Sue Blowes - General Manager

Sue manages the day-to-day running of the academy and should be your first point of call for inquiries on all academy activities.
