If you are a goalkeeper, or the parent of a goalkeeper you will have undoubtedly felt the frustration of trying to find information relating to goalkeeper training, playing equipment, training aids and advice on career paths currently available and suited to your needs.

With over forty years of experience playing and coaching at the top level I can assure you that I have encountered all of the problems that you may be facing at this present time. The International Goalkeeper Academy has been structured to assist you with all goalkeeper related problems that you may encounter.

Our web site is an introduction to our activities and the ongoing development of Australia’s first home base which is exclusively for goalkeepers, and is situated at Blacktown Olympic Park.

Our aim is not only to help keepers who aspire to reach the top level, we also cater for keepers of all ages and abilities and improve their standard of play by implementing our advanced coaching techniques and training methods.

Many of the keepers who have trained with our academy have graduated to State League, the A League and overseas clubs. The majority of keepers however just want to play at the highest level of their ability and we at IGA can help them achieve their goals through the programs we offer and the experience our collective staff have gained throughout their own careers.

All of our staff including the coaching, and medical personnel have an extensive soccer background and have the experience and expertise to handle all related coaching and medical problems.

If you are a keeper we look forward to assisting you to become a better keeper. If you are a parent we understand the sacrifices you make and the commitment it takes to be the parent of the player who is the last line of defence.
